An Eternal Prayer for All Hue-manity…

Black Goddess

Dear Creator:

We humbly come before you knowing that in reality, You’ve already given us EVERYTHING we need to be fulfilled and empowered (A mind to think and strategize with, a heart to love and be compassionate with, arms to build and embrace with, hands to hold and write with, voices and a mouth to speak/inspire with, feet to move with, and a series of internal bodily systems that teach us the importance of eliminating waste, protecting ourselves against attack, experiencing pain and pleasure, etc). Therefore, we will not continue to ask for what we already have, as doing so shows an ungrateful spirit.

However, we do humbly ask that you bless us with the qualities: courage, creativity, wisdom, and organized effort needed to fully utilize the gifts You’ve bestowed upon us. Please help us understand that You don’t make junk, and give us the wherewithal to help ourselves and others realize our inherent beauty and value. In line with this, we ask You to help us expose and challenge wickedness and oppression wherever we find them, and whomever facilitates them, regardless of their title or status. Help us to remember and execute our spiritual mandate to improve and empower those people and things we touch. Please help us to maintain balance and equilibrium within ourselves and the world around us.

In Your spirit and in the tradition of all worthy prophets, teachers, mentors and righteous examples, please straighten our backs, amplify our voices, strengthen our resolve, eliminate our arrogance and jealousy, and help us to reflect Your light, energy and power through our thoughts, words and actions.

Amin, Amen, Ase’, Selah, Namaste

Note: A key role of faith systems, organizations and conscious people is to help people clearly “see” themselves and the world around them….to help them see through all the illusions, lies, traps, and cons so that they can free themselves from their power and challenge them…. to  provide people with a different set of lens or glasses, like in the movie “They Live” below:
